Prevent calendar synchronization of absence set up in ZyDesk

In ZyDesk clients (Zylinc Attendant Console, Contact Center, Service Center, and Team Center), users can create simple calendar entries to indicate that someone is absent. This is especially useful for ad-hoc absence in connection with unforeseen events, such as sickness, but you can also use it for planned absence that people haven't already registered in their calendars.
Absence that users set up this way is normally synchronized with your organization's Exchange Server/Office 365 calendar.
If you don't want such synchronization, you can set up your Zylinc solution so that absence set up by users in ZyDesk clients isn't synchronized to your organization's Exchange Server or Office 365 calendar (this is also known as one-way synchronization of absence):
- In the Zylinc Administration Portal menu, select INSTALL > Portal Settings
- In the Pages section, under Client, select Activity Templates and click Save
- In the Zylinc Administration Portal menu, select SYSTEM > Client configuration
- In the Client Features section, select Internal Absence Only and click Save
