Callback handling i Zylinc Mobile

It is now possible for an agent using Zylinc Mobile to also handle callback calls in the mobile app. Callbacks are handled in the same way that is available for VQM agents. The callback is offered in the client, and if accepted, all callback functionality is controlled by entering DTMF digits. From within the callback IVR menu, the agent can also listen to a callback voice message before dialing out.

Multiple bugs have been fixed from the earlier releases up to the 6.5u4.21 release. We recommend that you look at the bugs created on the Zylinc support system to see in which version the given bug was corrected. All versions of the modules are compatible with earlier versions (if still supported).

Important bug fixes

Bulk update of queue recording settings

  • Recording settings on a voice queue could not be bulk updated.

Special character support in calendar forwarding categories

  • Calendar-based forwarding now supports the use of special characters in the categories forwarding mappings, for example hash and asterisk (#, *). Bug: 30263.

Calendar-based forwarding changed to normal forwarding

  • In some circumstances an active calendar forwarding was converted to a normal forwarding, causing the forwarding not to be canceled when the calendar appointment ended. This could happen if a PBX integration service (User Proxy) from Zylinc was restarted during active calendar forwarding. Bug: 30369.

Timeout not applied for historical routing

  • Calls assigned to agents due to historical routing were never made available for other agents after the specified timeout. Bug: 30348.

Timeout not applied for historical routing

  • When an agent handled a voice callback, ZyDesk performed a call lookup when offered the call and when dialing up the customer. The second call lookup have now been removed. Bugs: 29731, 29810.

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:

Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed “Mainstream Support End Date,” it should no longer be expected to be supported by Zylinc solutions (although exceptions exist). This also includes products that Zylinc does not directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc. For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:

In these cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the Zylinc hardware recommendations.
