These release notes describe new features changes and bug fixes in the Zylinc 6.5u4.8 product suite compared with previous versions.
The Zylinc 6.5u4.8 product suite consists of:

The Zylinc 6.5u4.8 release is a minor release, that is you don't need to upgrade all your modules. Please read release notes for version 6.5:
Where it’s indicated, the described change/feature was available; if nothing is indicated, the feature is available in version 6.5u4.8 and onwards.

The 6.5u4.8 package ensures that the Zylinc product suite can be run in Azure with Elastic SQL Databases.
This allows the Zylinc product suite to be run directly in cloud infrastructure. It also contains new methods for authentication for SIP transport in order to be able to do SIPREC on third-party solutions in Azure or on Amazon Web Services.
ZyDesk has been upgraded to support new features from Sennheiser and Jabra. This requires new drivers from the relevant headset partners with new minimum requirements for .Net version 4.7.1.

Multiple bugs have been fixed from the earlier releases up to the 6.5u4.8 release. We recommend that you look at the bugs created on the Zylinc support system to see in which version the given bug was corrected. All versions of the modules are compatible with earlier versions (if still supported).

- Corrected problems with setting ZyDesk in focus
- Now able to edit notes on queues again

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:
Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed “Mainstream Support End Date,” it should no longer be expected to be supported by Zylinc solutions (although exceptions exist). This also includes products that Zylinc does not directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc. For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:
In these cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the Zylinc hardware recommendations.
