These release notes describe new features changes and bug fixes in the Zylinc 6.5u4.6 product suite compared with previous versions.

The Zylinc 6.5u4.6 product suite consists of:

  • Single-tenant platform:

    • Attendant Console

    • Contact Center

    • Service Center

    • Team Center (previously known as Employee Assistant or Operator)

    • Team Center for Web (previously known as Employee Assistant for Web or Web Operator)

    • Mobile

In cases where the Zylinc product suite is mentioned, information is relevant for all products listed in the previous.

The Zylinc 6.5u4.6 release is a minor release, that is you don't need to upgrade all your modules. Please read release notes for version 6.5:

Where it’s indicated, the described change/feature was available; if nothing is indicated, the feature is available in version 6.5u4.6 and onwards.

Multiple bugs have been fixed from the earlier releases up to the 6.5u4.6 release. We recommend that you look at the bugs created on the Zylinc support system to see in which version the given bug was corrected. All versions of the modules are compatible with earlier versions (if still supported).

Important bug fixes

Administration Portal

  • Corrected an issue with call reason codes being rendered with an extra curly bracket in ZyDesk clients

Authentication Server

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

Client Access Service

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

Deployment Manager

  • Minor updates to Finnish language tokens

External Chat Queue Handler

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

Lync User Proxy

  • Can now forward Skype for Business numbers again

Messaging Portal

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

Mobile Presence

  • Agent remains busy after completing call on mobile

Queue Manager

  • Support for dialing any full SIP URI over any trunk

Service Manager

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

Statistics Portal

  • Depending on privileges, queue lists sometimes empty and agent searches not working

Switch Image aconf

  • Clientless agents fail to log in

XMPP Queue Handler

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

XMPP User Proxy

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

ZyCore ID

  • Internal lookup not performed if lookup order specifies external first
  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

ZyDataService

  • Database connections now made directly to database instead of SQL Server first

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:

Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed “Mainstream Support End Date,” it should no longer be expected to be supported by Zylinc solutions (although exceptions exist). This also includes products that Zylinc does not directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc. For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:

In these cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the Zylinc hardware recommendations.
