These release notes describe new features, changes, and bug fixes in the Zylinc 6.5u4.19 release.

In cases where the Zylinc product suite is mentioned, information is relevant for all products.

The Zylinc 6.5u4.19 release is a minor release, that is you don't need to upgrade all your modules. Please read release notes for version 6.5:

Where it’s indicated, the described change/feature was available; if nothing is indicated, the feature is available in version 6.5u4.19 and onwards.

Users get the software from their Zylinc partner.

If you have Zylinc partner credentials, you can download all new updates from:

This release does not include any new features.

Multiple bugs have been fixed from the earlier releases up to the 6.5u4.19 release. We recommend that you look at the bugs created on the Zylinc support system to see in which version the given bug was corrected. All versions of the modules are compatible with earlier versions (if still supported).

Important bug fixes

GDPR management in Administration Portal

  • Under certain circumstances, it wasn't possible to anonymize or delete data for a given extension. The Administration Portal never completed the operation. This has been corrected.

Camped calls at idle extension could still be dropped

  • When an agent camped a call in ZyDesk toward an idle extension, the call could still end up being dropped due to a race condition. This has been further improved from previous hotfix. Bug: 30249.

Incorrect from-number on agents' outbound calls

  • In all previous version 6.5 installations, the from-number for outbound calls reported to the statistics was in fact the A-number presented to the agent, and not the A-number presented to the called party. This has been corrected. Bug: 30263.

Some VQM agent numbers unable to log in via IVR

  • When a VQM (clientless Voice Queue Member) agent dialed the VQM IVR login prompt, some agent phone numbers weren't correctly matched, which led to some VQM agents being unable to log in. This has been corrected. Bug: 30294.

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:

Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed “Mainstream Support End Date,” it should no longer be expected to be supported by Zylinc solutions (although exceptions exist). This also includes products that Zylinc does not directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc. For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:

In these cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the Zylinc hardware recommendations.
