These release notes describe new features, changes, and bug fixes in the Zylinc 6.5u4.18 release.
In cases where the Zylinc product suite is mentioned, information is relevant for all products.
The Zylinc 6.5u4.18 release is a minor release, that is you don't need to upgrade all your modules. Please read release notes for version 6.5:
Where it’s indicated, the described change/feature was available; if nothing is indicated, the feature is available in version 6.5u4.18 and onwards.

This release does not include any new features.

Multiple bugs have been fixed from the earlier releases up to the 6.5u4.18 release. We recommend that you look at the bugs created on the Zylinc support system to see in which version the given bug was corrected. All versions of the modules are compatible with earlier versions (if still supported).
Important bug fixes
BroadWorks click to dial not allowed in Remote Office mode

When requesting a click to dial (also known as click2dial, click-2-dial, or click-to-dial) call for a BroadWorks user, the operation failed if the requesting user had the BroadWorks Remote Office service activated. This has been corrected.

Client API absence endpoints ignored Category parameter

When requesting create and/or get absence appointments, the request ignored the appointment parameter Category. The create and get absence endpoints now both support categories.

Unable to delete absence appointments using Client API

When requesting deletion of an absence appointment using the Client API, the operation failed, and the absence appointment remained in the system. This has been corrected. Bug: 30271.

The Database Service is no longer required and has been withdrawn.

Missing language tokens for agent forwarding warning

ZyDesk language tokens for displaying a warning to agents, if a forwarding was identified on their agent device, were missing, and therefore no warning text was displayed. Language tokens have been added for Danish and English. Bug: 29688.

Calendar-based forwarding not removed on appointment end

When calendar-based forwarding was active, the forwarding was in some scenarios not removed when the appointment period ended. This has been corrected. Bug: 30227.

Camped calls at idle extensions could be dropped

When an agent camped a call in ZyDesk toward an idle extension, the call could end up being dropped. This has been corrected. Bug: 30249.

ZyDesk Operator users were unable to dial numbers that started with the special characters * or #. This has been corrected. Bug: 30254.

When searching for people in ZyDesk, the search result, when searching for letters, didn't automatically select the matched person in the Time component, so it wasn't possible to quick-dial the required person. This has been corrected. Bug: 30269.

Unable to transfer calls with ENTER key

In ZyDesk, some settings combinations could make transfers with the shortcut key ENTER have no effect. This has been corrected. Bug: 30244.

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:
Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed “Mainstream Support End Date,” it should no longer be expected to be supported by Zylinc solutions (although exceptions exist). This also includes products that Zylinc does not directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc. For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:
In these cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the Zylinc hardware recommendations.
