These release notes describe new features, changes, and bug fixes in the Zylinc 6.5u4.16 release.
In cases where the Zylinc product suite is mentioned, information is relevant for all products.
The Zylinc 6.5u4.16 release is a minor release, that is you don't need to upgrade all your modules. Please read release notes for version 6.5:
Where it’s indicated, the described change/feature was available; if nothing is indicated, the feature is available in version 6.5u4.16 and onwards.

This release does not include any new features.

Multiple bugs have been fixed from the earlier releases up to the 6.5u4.16 release. We recommend that you look at the bugs created on the Zylinc support system to see in which version the given bug was corrected. All versions of the modules are compatible with earlier versions (if still supported).
Important bug fixes
Country, Department, and Company mode SIP trunk settings

The SIP trunk settings for Country, Department- and Company mode configurations weren't applied when configured in the Administration Portal. This has been corrected, so you can use specific SIP trunks when dialing specific phone number series. Bug: 30196.

Agent forward warning shown on conditional forwarding

The incoming channels overview in ZyDesk displayed a warning about the agent device being forwarding when any kind of device forwarding was detected. This behavior has been changed to only display a warning if the agent's device has an unconditional forwarding activated. Bug: 29688.

Sennheiser headsets could disconnect other agents' calls

When using a Sennheiser headset as an agent, the agent could cause other agents' calls to be disconnected. This has been corrected along with some other Sennheiser integration improvements. Bug: 30191.

Misplaced cursor in Contact Center outgoing calls

When an agent entered an external number in the dialer, the cursor was misplaced after entering the language number prefix 00, which led to incorrect phone numbers. This has been corrected. Bug: 30189.

Rooms & resources not available/visible

Synchronized rooms and resource objects were in some scenarios not available or visible. This has been corrected. Bug: 30170.

Statistics Portal not accessible using default HTTP ports

The Statistics Portal could no load data when it was configured to run on the default HTTP ports, 80 and 443. This has been corrected. Bug: 30172.

The Media Server could in rare scenarios crash. This has been corrected. Bug: 29964.

Client Manager request log not rotating
-
The Client Manager module was not rotating the request log, which could lead to very large log files that could fill up available storage on the server. This has been corrected, such that the log files are now stored in the Apache instance log directory, and the size and log file count is now controllable form the log4j configuration file. Bug: 29968.

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:
Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed “Mainstream Support End Date,” it should no longer be expected to be supported by Zylinc solutions (although exceptions exist). This also includes products that Zylinc does not directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc. For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:
In these cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the Zylinc hardware recommendations.
