These release notes describe new features changes and bug fixes in the Zylinc 6.5u4.10 product suite compared with previous versions.

In cases where the Zylinc product suite is mentioned, information is relevant for all products listed in the previous.

The Zylinc 6.5u4.10 release is a minor release, that is you don't need to upgrade all your modules. Please read release notes for version 6.5:

Where it’s indicated, the described change/feature was available; if nothing is indicated, the feature is available in version 6.5u4.10 and onwards.

Users get the software from their Zylinc partner.

Agent channel events exposed in RabbitMQ

Channel events for each agent can now be exposed in RabbitMQ, enabling third-party applications to react on agent channel state changes. Events will be avaibale for call, e-mail, and chat channel types, and an event will be sent out for each new, updated, or removed channel.

The feature is available from Client Manager version 6.0.193.0, and can be activated in the Client Manager administration interface. RabbitMQ must be installed and configured prior to activating the feature.

Multiple bugs have been fixed from the earlier releases up to the 6.5u4.10 release. We recommend that you look at the bugs created on the Zylinc support system to see in which version the given bug was corrected. All versions of the modules are compatible with earlier versions (if still supported).

Important bug fixes

ZyDesk

  • Wrapup time not respected when using Sennheiser headset; Bug:29501.

  • Users may be missing number data in Gantt; Bug:29780.

Deployment Manager

  • New database updates to support other internal modules.

    • CoreDB: 18.165

    • StatDB: 6.9.55

Administration Portal

  • Agent device type and corresponding phone number rendering on the Agent Configuration page in the Administration Portal have been corrected. The agent will now gain the correct settings when selecting either ‘Default’ device or a specific device.

    Switch Image aConf v7.59+, Core Database 18.136+ are mandatory.

Queue Manager

  • Two callers calling into a queue may unintentionally be bridged with each other, when some specific conditions are met; Bug:30046, Bug:30047.

    Requires minimum StatDB v6.9.55.0.

Directory Server

  • Multiple internal improvements

Lync User Proxy

  • Multiple updates to correct UCWA presence issues for both on-premise and cloud Skype for Business and Teams:

    • Service running UCWA stops after a few minutes; Bug:29875.
    • UCWA authentication and application not found errors; Bug:29956, Bug:29921.
    • Corrected issue in reading BusyOnBusy configuration causing BusyOnbusy not to work; Bug:29855.

    Requires Administration Portal v6.2.217+.

Exchange Sync WS

  • Multiple internal improvements

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:

Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed “Mainstream Support End Date,” it should no longer be expected to be supported by Zylinc solutions (although exceptions exist). This also includes products that Zylinc does not directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc. For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:

In these cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the Zylinc hardware recommendations.
