Schedule report generation and distribution
When you save a report in Zylinc Advanced Statistics, you can specify that it should automatically be generated and distributed to relevant people at regular intervals.
This feature is highly useful, no matter whether you just want to get a report for yourself every morning, or whether you need to send executive summary reports to top management every quarter.

-
When you've generated the report, select the Save report tab at the top of the report page.
-
Make sure that Enabled is selected, and specify a descriptive Name for the report.
-
In the Receivers field, specify the e-mail addresses of people who should receive the report.
If you specify multiple e-mail addresses, use a comma to separate the e-mail addresses. Alternatively, write each e-mail address on a separate line.
-
Select When it should be sent, including the time of day that the report should be generated and sent.
-
Select What it should contain to specify the period of time that the report should cover. If you select one of the options that require a certain number of years, months, weeks, or days, specify the number in the Number of field.
-
Select required Report grouping. That determines how the report's content will be arranged.
Example: Say that you're going to create a report about three queues. If you select Total, the report will show the total values for all three queues, but if you select Objects, the report will show individual values for each queue.
-
Select required Interval grouping. That determines if the report's intervals should be based on, for example, time or date.
-
Select required report Format:
- .csv (file with comma-separated values)
- .xlsx ( Microsoft Excel 2010-2013 spreadsheet format)
- .xls ( Microsoft Excel 97-2003 spreadsheet format)
If you select one of the Excel formats, you get some options:
-
Include charts
-
Inc. specifications: Include call specifications.
-
Inc. column descriptions: Column descriptions can make it easier for others to understand the content of data tables. If you include them, they'll appear on a separate sheet in Excel that the report recipients can then use for reference.
-
Include the following groupings: Each time interval grouping that you select for your report (for example Weekday, Time, Date, and Week) will be created on a separate sheet in Excel. This makes it easy to view trends.
- Click Save.

-
In the ribbon in the top of the Advanced Statistics window, click SAVED REPORTS.
-
Click the name of the required report.
-
In the right part of the window, click Edit.
-
When ready, click the Update button.

If you want you want some recipients to get the report at some intervals, and other recipients to get it at other intervals, you can add alternative schedules.
Example: With alternative schedules, you can make middle managers get the report on a monthly basis, top managers get the report on a quarterly basis, and board members get the report on a yearly basis.
-
In the ribbon in the top of the Advanced Statistics window, click SAVED REPORTS.
-
Click the name of the required report..
-
In the left part of the window, click Add new send schedule.
-
When ready, click the Add button.

If you need to generate and view the report in Zylinc Advanced Statistics without sending it to the scheduled recipients, you can simply generate the report ad-hoc.
Example: You need to view the report while you prepare for to a meeting, but you don't want to disturb the report's recipients with an unscheduled report.
-
In the ribbon in the top of the Advanced Statistics window, click SAVED REPORTS.
-
Click the name of the required report.
- In the right part of the window, click Execute report.

If you need to generate and send the report to the recipients outside of the normal schedule, you can simply send the report ad-hoc.
-
In the ribbon in the top of the Advanced Statistics window, click SAVED REPORTS.
-
Click the name of the required report.
-
In the right part of the window, click Send.
-
In the Target date and Hour fields, specify the date and time on which you want the report to be based.
This is the date and time on which the on which the report will be based, not the time and date on which the report will be generated and sent.
Example: If you specify 23 February 2018, and the report schedule specifies that the report should contain data from the previous day, the report will contain data from 22 February 2018.
-
Click the Add button.
The report will be queued for immediate generation and sending.

-
Select the Additional tab.
-
