Use network ports below 49152

Dette emne er fortrinsvis for administratorer og/eller folk som bestyrer en Zylinc-løsning
Ports in the range 49152 to 65535 are reserved by the Windows operating system. Windows actively uses ports within that range for its dynamic ports, also known as private ports or ephemeral ports.
If you use such a reserved port for a Zylinc-related service, there's a risk that Windows will block the port, and that the Zylinc-related service won’t be able to work correctly. If that's the case, you'll see periodic errors due to the random nature in which private ports are used by the operating system. A reboot, a service restart, or even a restart of a different service, may temporarily fix the problem.
However, to permanently fix the problem, make sure that all ports that you use in your Zylinc solution are outside of the reserved port range between 49152 and 65535.

-
In the Administration Portal menu, select INSTALL > Network Overview
-
Check that all modules use a port that's lower than 49152 in Port1 or Port2 on Server Address for a Windows server.
If a port number is too high, go to the respective page in the Administration Portal and reduce the port number to a value below 49152.

Zylinc solutions have historically used some ports in the range 49512 to 65535 that's reserved by the Windows operating system. Here's how you can make sure that your solution doesn't use those ports anymore:
Some of the modules listed in the following, for example ZyCore Device, are so old that they're not used in recent Zylinc versions. It's still a good idea, however, to quickly check the port numbers.
