Zylinc Mobile Agent/Operator for iOS
Zylinc Mobile Agent and Mobile Operator give mobile employees a real-time overview of colleagues’ calendars, contact details, and availability directly on their smartphones or tablets. With Mobile Agent you also get the ability to view and change agent and queue status.
Some Mobile Agent/Operator features require a certain mobile subscription or a special setup. Ask your Zylinc administrator if you're in doubt.
When you log in to Mobile Agent/Operator, you'll typically see a page about your current status and calendar.
-
Your upcoming calendar appointments. Tap the area to view your entire calendar.
-
Select how many calendar appointments to display.
-
Shortcuts to actions that change your status, for example create absence, forward your office phone, or activate do not disturb.
-
menu. The menu is where you navigate your Mobile Agent/Operator, and it's also where you log out.
As your first task in Mobile Agent/Operator, open the menu, and tap Preferences. Then, under My Mobile Number, make sure that the number of your mobile phone is entered. This is required for certain parts of Mobile Agent/Operator to work.
You can select another startup page under Mobile Agent/Operator for iOS preferences.

When you begin to use your Mobile Agent/Operator, you can associate your login details (user name and password) with Touch ID fingerprint authentication, so you can quickly log in to your Mobile Agent/Operator with your fingerprint.
Note, however, that many organizations have IT policies that require users' passwords to be changed at regular intervals, for example every three months. If your organization has such a policy, we recommend that you don't use Touch ID for your Mobile Agent/Operator. Otherwise, your password will not match your Touch ID login to your Mobile Agent/Operator after the change.
If you already use Touch ID, and your password has changed, you can still get access to your Mobile Agent/Operator:
-
Open your Mobile Agent/Operator
-
When you see the login screen, tap the red fingerprint symbol to activate Touch ID
-
Place a finger that you haven't used for Touch ID before on your phone's Touch ID sensor
-
Your phone will not recognize the fingerprint, but you'll be able to select Login as another user
-
Enter your user name and your new password, and tap Log in
Your new user name/password combination is now associated with your new fingerprint, and you can use your new fingerprint when you need to log in to your Mobile Agent/Operator
