Version 6.0u41

These release notes describe new features changes and bug fixes in the Zylinc 6.0u4 product suite compared with previous versions.

The Zylinc product suite consists of:

  • Single-tenant platform

  • Multitenant platform

  • Attendant Console

  • Contact Center

  • Web Operator

  • Time

  • Mobile Operator

  • Mobile Agent

In cases where the Zylinc product suite is mentioned, information is relevant for all products listed in the previous.

The Zylinc6.0u4 release is a main GA release, that is you don’t need to upgrade all your modules, unless you upgrade from a version earlier than 6.0. Please read release notes for version 6.0u2:

Where it’s indicated, the described change/feature was available; if nothing is indicated, the feature is available in version 6.0 and onwards.

The following features are new in this version of the Zylinc product suite.

Messaging Portal

  • Support for XMPP gateways for multiple SMS providers

ZyDesk

  • Multiprovider line state

Broadworks

  • Selective call forwarding

The following features are improved in this version of the Zylinc product suite.

Service Manager

  • Failed entries cleared from the database if older than one month

  • Improved features usage reporting

SIP User Proxy

  • Multiple improvements to Cisco SIP line-state handling

Switch Image

  • Switch image flavor

The following bugs have been fixed in the Zylinc modules:

Cisco directory sync

  • User EM logging now always correctly registered

  • Line state for EM users now correctly rendered in ZyDesk

  • Line states now correctly rendered

Client Manager (previously Gatekeeper)

  • The Gatekeeper is renamed to Client Manager

  • Multiple corrections and updates for the Client Manager function

  • Client Manager URL on Interfaces page in Administration Portal updated to reflect name change

Deployment Manager

  • Supervisor window now lists users instead of groups in coreDb

  • Users and queues no longer marked as deleted after upgrade of coreDb

  • Name rather than DN now displayed in statistics after upgrade of coreDb

Email Queue Handler

  • Sent mails now correctly stored in Zysent folder

Lync User Proxy

  • Mobile Status now federated with Lync

  • Forwarding URI for Busy-On-Busy now also works when using user endpoints

Lync Web Chat

  • Use of alternate port for web relay now works

Messaging portal

  • UTF encoding towards CP SMS now correct

Queue Manager

  • Personal Queue Failover setting now works correctly

Zylinc support for Microsoft products follows Microsoft Product Lifecycle as described here:

Typically, when a Microsoft product has passed Mainstream Support End Date, you should no longer expect it to be supported by Zylinc solutions. This also includes products that Zylinc doesn't directly integrate with, such as Microsoft Office Excel, etc.

For some Microsoft products, such as Internet Explorer, the End of Support date differs for different operating systems:

In such cases, Zylinc support should no longer be expected when none of the supported operating systems are listed in the following.
