Busylight status
Several ZyDesk clients (Zylinc Attendant Console, Contact Center, and Service Center) work with the popular Busylight UC Alpha and UC Omega from Kuando, so that agents' Busylights will reflect their status in ZyDesk.
-
Green: Idle, that is ready to answer calls
-
Red: Busy
-
Orange: Standby
-
Yellow: In wrapup
-
Gray: Inactive or unavailable
-
Off: Offline
As an agent, you don't need your administrator to configure anything, if your organization uses a ZyDesk version that supports your Busylight (that's the ZyDesk version that comes with Zylinc version 6.5u4.2 or newer, if your administrator asks).
When that's the case, just go ahead and use your Busylight, but be aware of the following:
You can't have the Busylight application open while you use ZyDesk, so you need to exit it before you log in to ZyDesk. To exit the Busylight application, click the Busylight icon in your computer's notification area (also known as system tray), and select Exit.
If you can’t see the Busylight icon in your computer’s notification area, its probably because some of the icons are hidden. In that case, click the Show hidden icons icon, and, voilà, there’s the Busylight icon.
