ZyDesk state handling
This information is primarily for administrators and/or people who manage Zylinc solutions
In Zylinc version 6.5, the state machine logic that handles the many different states of, for example, agents, queues, calls, and channels in the ZyDesk clients (that is Zylinc Attendant Console, Contact Center, and Service Center) has moved from the client computers to the Client Manager Tomcat service on the Zylinc system's Windows application server.
In previous Zylinc versions, all clients always subscribed to all states via a globally synchronized state machine that distributed all states to all agents.
Now, client software can ignore irrelevant states, and instead subscribe only to the states that the user needs at any given time. This provides a big improvement of scalability and performance.
