Set up a wallboard
With a Zylinc solution's browser-based wallboard, you can display relevant information to agents and other stakeholders in your organization's communication, for example:
- Number of inquiries in queues
- Number of signed-in agents
- Queue waiting times
- Service level compliance
Organizations often display wallboards on large monitors in contact centers, etc., but wallboards can work equally well on individual people's computers, tablets, or phones.
To set up a wallboard, you need to be able to access your organization's Zylinc Administration Portal. If you don't have that access, ask your Zylinc administrator to help.

-
In the Zylinc Administration Portal menu, select Queues > Wallboard Profiles.
-
At the bottom of the page, click Add Wallboard.
-
Give your new wallboard a Name (no spaces or special characters), a Display name, and an optional Description.
-
A wallboard can display information about queues as well as agents. Depending on your organization's needs, you may want to combine the two, or use separate wallboards for queues and agents.
-
In the Queues box, select the queues that you want the wallboard to display information about, then click the arrow icon to move the selected queues to the Overview Component box.
-
In the Agents box, select the agents that you want the wallboard to display information about, then click the arrow icon to move the selected agents to the Overview Component box.
Note that the Agents box may contain groups of agents as well as individual agents.
If there are many agents/groups, use the Filter list field. Press ENTER to apply your filter.
-
-
In the Information section, select which kinds of Queue Data and/or Agent Data you want the wallboard to display.
A wallboard can also display a News Ticker and a Clock. If you want a news ticker, type the required text in the News field.
