Set up Office 365 e-mail queue
This information is primarily for administrators and/or people who manage Zylinc solutions
Connect your Zylinc solution to Office 365 and create an e-mail queue that gets inquiries from Office 365:

In the Administration Portal menu, select INSTALL > Portal Configuration

Maker sure that Mail Queues is selected

Click Save
-
In the Administration Portal menu, select SYSTEM > Interface Configuration
-
In Mail Queue Handler Address, enter the address of your Zylinc Windows Application Server
Example: WinAppServer
-
Click Save

In the Administration Portal menu, select SYSTEM > Mail Accounts
-
Click Add Mail Account
-
In Name, enter a name for the mail account, for example Office 365
In IMAP settings
-
In IMAP Server, enter outlook.office365.com
-
In Port, enter 993
-
Select SSL
-
In Sync timer, enter 60
-
In User (default), enter the e-mail address and password for the user to use for the e-mail queue
In SMTP Settings
-
In SMTP Server, enter smtp.office365.com
-
In Port, enter 587
-
Select SSL
-
In User (default), enter the e-mail address and password for the user to use for the e-mail queue
-
Click Save

In the Administration Portal menu, select QUEUES > Mail Queues
-
Click Add Mail Queue
-
In Name, enter a name for your e-mail queue
-
In Address, enter the e-mail address that people should use to reach the queue.
The e-mail address will also be used as sender address, if you don’t fill out the Reply-to fields.

Click Save
-
In the list of e-mail queues, click the name of your new queue
-
Click USERS in the right corner
If you use Internet Explorer on a Windows server, Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration can cause lists of users and groups to take a very long time to load in the Zylinc Administration Portal. While the lists load, you'll see a loading indicator, like this:
If it's allowed in your organization, you should switch off Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration. The way you do that varies depending on your server version. Do a Google search for Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration to learn how to do it on your server version.
Alternatively, you can of course use another browser, for example Chrome or Firefox. -
Add an agent to Primary

Click Save

-
In the Deployment Manager menu, select Deployment > Installation
-
In Installers, select E-mail Queue Handler
-
Click Install Applications
-
In the Deployment Manager menu, select Deployment > Windows Services
-
Set Email Queue Handler service Startup type to AutomaticDelayed
-
Start Email Queue Handler service

-
Log in to ZyDesk as the agent you previously added as primary user for the e-mail queue
-
In the ZyDesk menu, select Actions > Administer Queues
-
Select the e-mail queue that you previously created
-
From another computer, send an e-mail to the e-mail queue address
-
This may take several minutes: The e-mail should show up in ZyDesk as an incoming inquiry

Click Answer
-
Click Reply
-
Write an answer and click Send
-
This may take several minutes: The answer should arrive on the computer that you sent the e-mail from
