Which Zylinc version do I have?

Sometimes you need to know which Zylinc version you have, for example if you want help for your specific version.

If you're an administrator, you typically already know your version number. If not, you can find out from the release folder that the system was installed from, for example Release_6.0u3.4.

However, if you use Zylinc Attendant Console, Contact Center, Service Center or Team Center, those programs tell you which internal ZyDesk framework they use, rather than which Zylinc version they belong to, so you need to do a simple conversion to find out which version you have:

  • ZyDesk framework number above 7.0 = You have Zylinc version 6.5

  • ZyDesk framework number between 6.7.39 and 6.9.x = You have Zylinc version 6.0

  • ZyDesk framework number lower than 6.7.39 = You have Zylinc version 5.6 or earlier

This help system covers Zylinc versions 6.0 and newer. Select your version in the black bar at the top of the page. If your Zylinc version is older than 6.0, you can find help on the old wiki.

So, how do you find out which ZyDesk framework your Zylinc Attendant Console, Contact Center, or Service Center uses?

When you start the program, you can view the framework number while the program loads:

While you use the program, select Help > About in the menu, and look for your ZyDesk framework:
