Set up ZyDB and ZyStatDB databases

Start Deployment Manager, and locate the ZyDB Configuration in the top of the screen.

In IP, enter the hostname of the SQL server that hosts ZyDB, for example: WinAppServer
-
In Port, enter 1433
-
In Username, enter ZyUser
-
In Password, enter the password for MSSQL user ZyUser
-
In Database, enter ZyDB
-
Click Save
-
You should see this message: Successfully connected to database: zydb (ZyDB: 0.0.0.0)

In the Deployment Manger menu, select Database > ZyDB > Update
-
Click Update, and wait for approximately one minute for the update to complete
-
Click Create to create user

You must import at least one language for ZyDesk to work correctly.

In the Deployment Manager menu, select Database > ZyDB > Language
-
In Import Language, select required language
-
Click Compare
-
Click Upload
You can import more than one language if you repeat the steps.

You must save a license key in ZyDB before you can use the software.

In the Deployment Manager menu, select Database > ZyDB > License
-
Click Get License
-
Paste your license key into the field
-
Click Save License

You must import at least one ZyDesk profile for ZyDesk to work.

In the Deployment Manager menu, select Database > Profile
-
Select the profile type that matches your available licenses and the ZyDesk product that you need.

Click Upload
If you have licenses for more than one product, repeat the steps to upload additional profiles.

In the Deployment Manager menu, select Database > StatDB > Statistics Database Settings
-
In IP, enter the hostname of the SQL server that hosts ZyStatDB, for example: WinAppServer
-
In Port, enter 1433
-
In Username, enter ZyUser
-
In Password, enter the password for MSSQL user ZyUser
-
In Database, enter ZyStatDB
-
Click Save Configuration
-
You should see this message: Successfully connected to StatDB ZyStatDB
-
Click Update

-
In the Deployment Manger menu, select Database > ZyDB > Update
-
In Update Database, verify that Current Database Version isn't 0.0.0.0
Now you know that Deployment Manager can locate and connect to ZyDB, and the database has tables and programability.

In the Deployment Manager menu, select Database > StatDB > Statistics Database Settings

Click Save Configuration
-
In Update Statistics Database, verify that Current Database Version isn't 0.0.0.0
Now yoo know that Deployment Manager can locate and connect to ZyStatDB, and the database has tables and programability.
