Zylinc supports Børns Vilkår

Zylinc supports Børns Vilkår in 3 ways: Sponsoring and fundraising in TDC Erhverv’s Cycling Network, by making our service available free of charge and through our own donation.

At Zylinc, we believe in giving back to society – especially the most fragile part. That is why we proudly support Børns Vilkår.

Børns Vilkår is a Danish NGO ensuring that children are heard and cared for. Moreover, Børns Vilkår works to ensure that no child in Denmark is abandoned. Børns Vilkår runs HØRT and BørneTelefonen which are free, anonymous, 24-hour phone lines and text message counseling services. And the heavy topics take over at night – suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts alone account for 13 % of all calls to BørneTelefonen.

Cycling for a good cause

Since 2015, Zylinc has sponsored and participated in TDC Erhverv’s Cycling Network, the IT industry’s largest cycling network. From April to September, various invited customers, partners and employees of TDC meet for a higher cause than business. For every kilometer cycled during the year, TDC Erhverv donates DKK 1. In 2023, the Cycling Network fundraised DKK 50,000 which was donated to Børns Vilkårs. TDC has supported BørneTelefonen since the first call more than 30 years ago.

Free use of Zylinc and donation

In addition to fundraising though the cycling network, we support Børns Vilkår with a separate donation and by making our service available free of charge for BørneTelefonen to handle the calls and texts from children and young people who need to be heard, comforted, understood, accepted – or just someone who will listen. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round.
